Why should you take care of your skin
Many people strongly undervalue the largest organ on their bodies. That large organ, composed of 3 layers, each is gigantic by itself, is the human skin.
People in western society love to differentiate between the skin and other, internal, organs- anything that has to do with the internal body machinery is referred to as health related, while everything that deals with the skin is considered beauty related.
When something is segmented as being beauty related, much less people would pay the appropriate attention to it. Many men would completely disregard anything that is tagged as cosmetics, because of plain stereotypes – cosmetics are a branch within beauty, and beauty is meant for their feminine counterparts.
So would many hard working folks, that are less than willing to spend their time and money over luxuries, and since skin care is accounted to be a luxury reserved only for novelty (or, at the very least, people who fairly wealthy).
People who are not willing to consume time, money, or attention to their skin are basically neglecting their biggest organ. This organ is extremely complex, delicate, and important in protecting the internal part of the body. The epidermis is only the top, visible layer, and the dermis and subcutaneous exist beneath it and contain blood vessel, fat cells, glands, nerves, fibers and hair follicles.
The aging of that skin is not entirely depends on how its respective owner sustains it, but also the DNA which indicates the aging of the skin. It doesn't mean that our actions and the way we take control of our habits will not affect the outcome – the health condition of the skin.
